Requirements

  • Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate
  • Willing and able to work shift work (days and nights, optional overtime, and optional holidays)
  • Proven mechanical and troubleshooting skills; prefer 3 or more years experience in the industrial mechanic/millwright or machinist trade.
  • Outstanding work ethic with exceptional discipline, attendance, and safety record
  • Takes initiative, and ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to learn computer-based maintenance software (e.g. for work order scheduling)

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in a production facility.
  • Welding and/or machining experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment.
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including equipment common to the trade such as gearboxes or pumps, and specific beer packaging and brewing equipment.
  • Specific equipment includes: bottle and can filler, bottle labeler, palletizers and depalletizers, bottle and can packers, beer centrifuge.
  • Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and food-production quality standards.
