Requirements
- Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate
- Willing and able to work shift work (days and nights, optional overtime, and optional holidays)
- Proven mechanical and troubleshooting skills; prefer 3 or more years experience in the industrial mechanic/millwright or machinist trade.
- Outstanding work ethic with exceptional discipline, attendance, and safety record
- Takes initiative, and ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Capability to learn computer-based maintenance software (e.g. for work order scheduling)
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in a production facility.
- Welding and/or machining experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including equipment common to the trade such as gearboxes or pumps, and specific beer packaging and brewing equipment.
- Specific equipment includes: bottle and can filler, bottle labeler, palletizers and depalletizers, bottle and can packers, beer centrifuge.
- Follow plant safety, housekeeping, and food-production quality standards.
