About The Position

Innophos is seeking a Millwright for their Chicago Heights plant. This role is responsible for repairing, adjusting, and performing preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, including electrical, stationary, and mobile machinery. The work is performed on the plant floor and in the maintenance shop, in collaboration with other skilled trades. The position requires the ability to work a rotating three-shift schedule and involves physical tasks such as heavy lifting, climbing stairs, squatting, and working in extreme temperatures. This is an ideal role for tradespeople who enjoy fixing equipment and are comfortable with a rotating schedule.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining production equipment
• High school diploma or GED
• Thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical trades: welding (oxyacetylene and arc), pipefitting, machining, auto mechanics, machinery repair, and equipment operations
• Available for all three rotating shifts
• Physically able to lift regularly (some heavy), climb stairs, squat, handle tools, and work in extreme temperatures

Responsibilities

• Repair, adjust, and perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment
• Assist other skilled craft employees with repairs
• Serve on the plant’s Emergency Response and Confined Space Rescue teams
• Work safely on tasks independently and with others

Benefits

• $39.43–$43.42/hour per the labor contract; shift premium on 2nd and 3rd shifts
• Overtime on hours over 8 per day or 40 per week; paid biweekly on Fridays
