This is a Union Position Starting Pay $28.40 per hour increasing to $35.50 per hour after completing 90 Day Training Period.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Three to five years’ experience in the manufacturing or mechanical field
Three to five years working experience as a Millwright.
Must possess good mathematical skills.
Knowledge of blueprints and how to interpret them.
Knowledge of local building codes

Nice To Haves

Two-year degree in the construction or technical field or its equivalent preferred
Knowledge of and experience with preventive maintenance programs

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment and plant structures.
Install and change the layout of machines and mechanical equipment within the facility.
Set up machine foundations through the use of concrete and cement.
Erects, dismantles, repairs, and refinishes structures.
Set up and operate woodworking tools.
Perform preventive maintenance procedures as outlined by the preventive maintenance program.
Maintain a proactive approach and mindset to preventive maintenance.
Assist plumbers and electricians as needed or when scheduled.
Must adhere to all company and location policies and safety rules.
Must be able to work extended hours when required.
All other duties as assigned.
