About The Position
Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Millwrights at its Tilden Mine operation in Ishpeming, Michigan. Millwrights inspect, install, adjust, repair, and maintain plant machinery. The role involves troubleshooting and working with machinery, including torch cutting and heating, welding, and air arc cutting.
Requirements
- A minimum of a two-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field, or at least two years of directly related full-time work experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety information, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to work overtime.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, and assemble plant machinery.
- Replace defective parts and adjust plant machinery.
- Use a torch to cut and heat.
- Perform welding and air arc cutting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
