About The Position

Taurus Industrial Group is seeking a skilled Millwright to work in Bay City, Texas. The role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing facility machinery and equipment. The Millwright will use mechanical expertise and attention to detail to keep equipment operating smoothly and efficiently, minimize downtime, and maximize productivity. The position works closely with the production team to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and address equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
