About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Millwright Mechanic with field service experience to work onsite at customer facilities. The role involves rigging, unrigging, aligning, installing, removing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing small and large electrical apparatus and industrial equipment. The Millwright Mechanic also performs electrical testing and mechanical repairs to help ensure equipment operates safely and reliably. Travel to customer sites is required as needed. The pay rate is $25.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Millwright Mechanic, Field Service Technician, or in a similar industrial mechanical role.
• Hands-on experience with rigging and unrigging electrical apparatus or industrial equipment.
• Experience with equipment alignment and onsite mechanical repairs.
• Familiarity with electrical testing and equipment troubleshooting.
• Previous field service experience working at customer or industrial sites.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as required.
• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Rig and unrig small and large electrical apparatus and industrial equipment.
• Perform equipment alignment, installation, removal, and positioning.
• Conduct onsite mechanical repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Perform onsite electrical testing on electrical apparatus.
• Travel to customer sites to provide field service, equipment support, and repairs.
• Identify equipment issues and assist with troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Follow applicable safety procedures for rigging, equipment handling, and field service operations.
