About The Position

Assist maintenance lead/ millwright with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery, minimizing production downtime, performing preventive maintenance tasks, lubricating and adjusting equipment.

Requirements

• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and train under Maintenance Lead/ Millwright.
• 1 year of welding experience.
• Must have working knowledge of industrial maintenance.
• Must be able to work from heights
• Must be able to work in tight/ confined spaces.
• Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feels objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
• Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; see and hear well (either naturally or with correction).
• Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs.
• Stand, lay, bend or squat for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• 6 months to 1 year of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Required repair and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Provide plant support in the areas of equipment, processes, facilities, environmental, utilities, energy, regulatory compliance and maintenance.
• Performs all assigned duties as a member of a flexible work team.
• Performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Provide support and assistance to Maintenance Leads/ Millwrights.
• Observe and follow all MSHA safety work practices such as height safety, lockout/tagout/tryout principles.
