About The Position

Maintain all equipment in the plant. Train lower grade maintenance personnel.
Oversee mill projects.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $41.21 per hour.

Daily Job Duties:

Use mechanical and power tools to repair mill equipment
Perform preventative maintenance.
Be able to create/close work orders in the system.
Be able to kit parts and materials for work order jobs.
Insure all work of crew is properly recorded, turned in and closed.
Be able to communicate with vendors on needed parts/supplies
Fill in in absence of Supervisor.
Lead daily Safety meetings
Be able to do advanced maintenance on all equipment
Able to train 1,2,3 & 4 levels on advanced maintenance
Effectively be able to lead project work.
Schedule crew’s workload with planed work and oversee to completion
Read schematics, and instruction manuals to make equipment repairs.
Be able to perform alignments on equipment and do precision measuring
Welding & Fabrication for repairs and install of mill equipment
Work on and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic units and devices.
Properly repair and install mechanical parts for equipment
Operate Forklift – as required
Follow all applicable safety rules.
Work regularly scheduled shifts
Work scheduled overtime – as required
Work as relieve operator
Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Requirements

• Welding
• Acetylene/Oxygen Torch
• Proficient in Alignments of equipment
• Wide range of mechanical skills and use of tools
• Forklift
