About The Position
Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
- Knowledge of fire protecting, different types of metals, bearings, mechanical seals, tandem seals, compression packing, multi-stage pumps, vertical pumps, different types of drive coupling, cooling tower fan units, gearboxes and agitators
Responsibilities
- Basic rigging, come-along, etc.
- Thread metal pipe, conduit
- Cut pipe, conduit, metal, wood
- Material handling
- Fork truck and pickup truck driving
- Use basic tools and care of the tools
- Use of hand electric power tools and pneumatic tools
- Assist mechanics in assembly and work performance, demolition, cleaning, removing debris
- Building and ground maintenance
- Additional responsibilities not listed may be required
