About The Position

We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual looking to build a career as a millwright in a fast-paced metal stamping environment. We are looking for a motivated Millwright apprentice to join our maintenance team. We welcome applications from candidates at any stage in their millwright apprenticeship.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of how machines work and a "safety-first" mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (Days, Afternoons, Nights) and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of an experienced Millwright, proactively complete maintenance work which includes electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and general repair and maintenance of all equipment to maintain quality and production levels.
• Troubleshoot equipment and miscellaneous downtime issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment within manufacturers' specifications.
• Read and interpret various textbooks, service manuals, and bulletins related to the performance of work.
