About The Position

As an Installer at Architectural Surfaces, you will be responsible for the precise and professional installation of cabinets, tops, and from time-to-time wood trims. Your work will ensure that installations meet both aesthetic and functional standards, contributing to the overall success of construction and renovation projects.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
• Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CNC routers strongly preferred
• Experience with overarm routers, table routers, table saws, and miter saws preferred
• Experience with CNC software such as woodWOP7 or similar programs strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in precision work
• Comfortable working independently while supporting a team
• Mechanically inclined and enjoys working with machinery
• Adaptable and open to learning new techniques and technologies
• Reliable, safety-focused, and quality-driven

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from blueprints, shop drawings, and architectural plans to determine installation requirements.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials such as cabinet fillers, counter tops, and wood trims to specifications.
• Install products in various settings, ensuring alignment, fit, and finish meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
