Requirements

  • Previous machine operating experience a plus
  • Previous warehouse or material handler experience preferred
  • Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
  • Candidate must have a good work history
  • Able to lift 75+ lbs. comfortably
  • Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
  • Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
  • Capable of standing for extended periods of time
  • Flexible in working overtime when necessary
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials as needed before loading onto the door machine
  • Attach door components using an assembly machine as well as hand tools
  • Load/unload material properly onto/off the door machine
  • Pick material using a stand/sit forklift
  • Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
  • Use a scanner gun to check inventory and properly adjust material locations
  • Select material from shelves and prepare items for next steps
  • Inspect all material for quality
  • Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
  • Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
  • Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned
