Millwork CNC Programmer
About The Position
· Develop computer programs to power the shop machines to produce the specified components. · Provide Instructions, guidance, and training to machine operators. · Operate shop CNC machinery to meet deadlines · Ensure quality assurance in every component, physical checks must be completed periodically on the final components. · Analyze job orders and perform necessary calculations. · Simplify machining time to enhance productivity and efficiency. · Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment. · Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift. · Always wear proper personal protective equipment. · Responsible for immediately reporting all unsafe conditions and acts. · Follow all company safety procedure · Ensure proper material handling at all stages of processing. · Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor and the Production Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from two- year College or Technical school.
- 5 years’ minimum experience in the millwork industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Must be able to work overtime when needed
- Highly motivated with the ability to work with minimum supervision
