Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Millwork Carpenters for projects located in the South Bend, IN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Experience in cabinet assembly, millwork, and finish/trim carpentry
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and shop practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
Responsibilities
- Assemble custom cabinets, casework, and architectural millwork according to shop drawings and specifications
- Install hardware, drawer slides, hinges, moldings, and trim components
- Perform finish carpentry tasks including fitting, trimming, sanding, and final detailing of completed products
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
- Inspect materials and completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate and maintain woodworking tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
