About The Position

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Account Manager. This role involves performing marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of millwork and building material products and services to dealer accounts through personal customer contact. The position requires traveling through an assigned territory, quoting prices, and conducting sales presentations. The Account Manager will develop and implement sales strategies and product promotions, resolve customer issues, respond to complaints and receivable problems, and provide claims service. Job site visits may be included. The role also involves maintaining knowledge of competitor products, managing the territory/customers for profitable results, and providing promotional and merchandising support to customers in support of vendors. Additionally, the Account Manager will provide training to customers, customer associates, contractors, and/or Sales Reps as needed. A strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement is expected. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.
  • Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.

  • Typically three (3) to five (5) years of experience in related job function.
