About The Position

The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry. Shifts Available: Both 1st and 2nd shifts available! 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, 2nd Shift Hours- 3:30 pm - 3:30 am. Sign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$10,000 dependent on level of experience!

Requirements

• Operator experience with Milling CNC machines
• Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience using a microscope
• Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer

Nice To Haves

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience with tight tolerances
• Programming experience with Milling CNC Machines
• Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines
• Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines

Responsibilities

• Operate Milling CNC machines
• Perform quality inspection on completed parts
• Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
• Complete tool changes
