About The Position
The Milling CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry. Shifts Available: Both 1st and 2nd shifts available! 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, 2nd Shift Hours- 3:30 pm - 3:30 am. Sign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$5,000 dependent on level of experience!
Requirements
- Operator experience with Milling CNC machines
- Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience using a microscope
- Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer
Nice To Haves
- Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
- Previous experience with tight tolerances
- Programming experience with Milling CNC Machines
- Experience with set-up on Milling CNC Machines
- Experience in troubleshooting of Milling CNC Machines
Responsibilities
- Operate Milling CNC machines
- Perform quality inspection on completed parts
- Perform preventative maintenance on Milling CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance
- Complete tool changes
