About The Position

Nazdar's manufacturing plant is in search of Mill Operators to assist in the ink production area. The shift is from Monday - Thursday 1:30 PM - 12 AM. This position is eligible for Benefits, Paid Holidays, and Paid Time Off!! The primary purpose of this role is to tend one or more ink manufacturing mills that grind and blend raw materials into screen printing inks.

Requirements

Background in manufacturing/production required.
Two or more years of related experience outside of the Company or previous demonstrated competencies in current position within the company.
Ability to utilize iPad and Scanners for data entry.
Safety-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Nice To Haves

Infor M3, ERP, or other inventory management system experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

Tends 3-roll mill in a continuous production/processing operation
Follows production process specifications, or instructions from lead or higher-level technical personnel
Monitors mill operations and reports any malfunctions or abnormalities in equipment to the supervisor
Performs grind check after required # of passes are complete, and determines if additional passes are needed
Records production and grind information of batch tickets (grind approval, batch weight, number of passes, etc.)
Submits batch tickets to Quality Control for approval
Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
Assists with other duties as assigned
