About The Position

This position is for a Mill Operator working weekends, specifically Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, with approximately four 10-hour days. The primary duties involve the manufacturing of livestock feed and associated paperwork. Additional responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, providing customer service, performing grounds and equipment maintenance, warehouse upkeep, forklift operation, and grain handling.

• Have an understanding of safe working conditions and operations of vehicles.

• Must be team oriented.
• Possess great attention to detail.
• High School Diploma.

• Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing of livestock feed and all related paperwork.
• Loading/unloading trucks.
• Customer service.
• Grounds and equipment maintenance.
• Warehouse maintenance.
• Other related feed production duties.
• Forklift operation and grain handling.
• Assist other mill employees with operating activities.
• Operate scales for inbound and outbound trucks.
• Performing basic preventative maintenance, including housekeeping items.
• Understanding the feed ingredients and proper handling techniques.
• Accurately distribute feed directly to a feed truck.
• Operate equipment safely.
• Consistently follow all laws, regulations, and safety rules.
• Properly complete necessary paperwork and records.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
