About The Position

The Mill Operator safely and efficiently sets up, inspects, and operates equipment and machinery used to process products. The role follows standard operating procedures, completes production-related paperwork, and meets product specifications. It also provides leadership in driving quality and process improvements in a manufacturing environment. The position has no supervisory responsibilities and works Monday through Friday from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma; two to three years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to write simple notes.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Good hand skills and a keen eye for detail.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient understanding of basic SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and drafting skills.
