This role involves operating equipment safely and efficiently, performing inspections, collecting and processing samples, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
2-3 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

Comply with applicable MSHA regulations and safety procedures.
Report any safety risks or hazards to others.
Work in a manner that does not expose oneself or others to unacceptable risk.
Participate in risk management practices.
Comply with safety instructions from supervisors.
Ensure fit condition to work without affecting the safety and health of others.
Adhere to site procedures and supervisor instructions.
Operate equipment safely, efficiently, and to minimize damage, downtime, and quality issues.
Complete required paperwork accurately and professionally.
Assist with continuous improvement projects.
Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.
Perform pre-shift and routine equipment and area inspections; maintain safe work environments in the screen house.
Perform systematic startup of blowers, screens, mills, conveyors, elevators, and inspect equipment for safe operation within parameters.
Collect and process samples, record results, and change operating parameters as required.
Check and maintain communications with maintenance workers and management.
Maintain housekeeping in the working area.
Ensure Plant equipment is properly shut down at the end of the shift, the area is inspected, and any problems are reported to management.
