Mill Machinist II - 3rd Shift

Currently, we are seeking a skilled Mill machinist who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and wants to see their work contribute to some of the world's most advanced programs. In this role, you'll manufacture complex, high-precision components used in flight-critical systems where quality, reliability, and performance are non-negotiable. This position is eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus. To qualify, candidates must submit their application between July 20, 2026, and September 11, 2026, and is subject to the terms of the bonus agreement.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Mill Machinist.
- In accordance with strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.), employee enrollment & participation in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program" is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform a complete range of milling operations on all types of material using vertical mills, and tracer-type milling machines.
- Set up and operate a vertical mill.
- Make all set-ups using specified equipment.
- Occasionally develop new methods and machining techniques.
- Interpret drawings, occasionally work without operation sheets, and make difficult layouts.
- Need to work, at times, with minimum guidance.
- Inspect all work performed and detect unusual conditions, defective materials, and defective parts using different inspection equipment and processes.
