Must be able to perform all functions necessary to operate all equipment in the milling process in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner.
Must be capable of learning the cleaning, tempering, and milling process flow.
Must be capable of learning and safely operate the grain handling tasks in the grain elevator.
Must be able to complete and maintain the necessary records.
Must maintain high levels of safety and sanitation performance in and around the grain elevators and other areas as assigned.
Must have a working knowledge of and ability to use computers, scales, operate control board, blend grain, etc.
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, multiple times per day.
Climb ladder, step and extension.
Able to lift to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force.
Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend/stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance and reach at shoulder level and below shoulder level.
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a dust mask.
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment in the milling process in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner.
Learn the cleaning, tempering, and milling process flow.
Take ownership of 5S and CID's in assigned areas.
Maintain assigned Food Protection duties (FPP).
Maintain qualifications as dictated by the Employee Classification procedures (ECP’s).
Be responsible for production levels on the mill.
Line out equipment and optimize reliability rates for mill operation.
Manage downtime and uptime PMs of the mill.
Test/sample products to ensure run is in specification.
Troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues with all milling equipment.
Work alongside maintenance personnel when they are performing work on the equipment you are operating.
Learn and safely operate grain handling tasks in the grain elevator, including unloading grain, blending grain, moving rail cars with shuttle wagon, simple maintenance, and lubrication tasks.
Complete and maintain necessary records (Create and complete blend sheets, update database inventories, rail/truck loading/unloading data, process efficiency data, and others as required).
Train/qualify on scale operations and generate One-weigh tickets for customers.
Maintain high levels of safety and sanitation performance in and around the grain elevators and other areas as assigned.
Maintain assigned areas to meet or exceed Food Protection Audit requirements (FPA).
Maintain qualifications as dictated by the Employee Classification Procedures (ECP's).
Utilize computers, scales, operate control board, blend grain, etc.
Scrub areas of buildings and equipment when not relieving operators.
Paint as needed and directed when not relieving operators.
Patch holes in walls/floors/ceilings left from former equipment removal when not relieving operators.
Clean and organize areas as assigned when not relieving operators.
