The Milk Receiving Operator ensures the milk that is received meets the quality and safety standards to use for yogurt production. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 or more months of experience in a production environment

Responsibilities

  • Inspect all raw milk trucks on arrival, make sure all vents and lids are properly in place, check smell and color, check temperature and take samples from each compartment
  • Wash trucks including cleaning lids and vents, hook up hoses for wash system and run wash.
  • Perform beta-lactam test in lab and fill in all required paperwork
  • Wash and load the cream trucks, hook up all required hoses and pull the required samples.
  • Wash both the raw and cream silos
  • Direct trucks into open bays
  • Follow Chobani safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices
