Monitors dairy plant production processes such as milk receiving, separation, standardization, and batching by following Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ensures all paperwork is accurate, verifies charts, and records temperatures. Troubleshoots and resolves operating difficulties, communicating any issues that may affect production efficiency or food safety to management. Follows safety practices, including confined space guidelines, wearing required personal protective equipment, ensuring safe chemical handling, and monitoring fall restraints. Maintains sanitation of equipment through CIP and hand cleaning, and reports safety concerns. Supports Continuous Improvement by maintaining process and equipment performance data to improve quality and throughput, operating and cleaning equipment to maximize throughput and minimize downtime, and communicating mechanical and operational issues. Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors fats, total solids, allergens, and cryoscopes to ensure product quality and processing efficiencies. Completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities, and communicating progress. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
