About The Position

The Military Officer Leadership Program provides proven mid-career Veteran leaders with a structured transition to a purposeful, rewarding, growth-oriented civilian career. It bridges the domain gap, fosters inclusiveness within a supportive community, enables professional development, and empowers Veterans to chart their career path at GE Aerospace. Qualified candidates are those who excelled in their military careers and are looking for their next opportunity. Those accepted will be placed in a 2-year rotational program within one of our Defense & Systems functional roles.

Requirements

  • Commissioned U.S. Military Officer with a minimum 5 years of service completed by start date, up to a maximum 12 years, with an Honorable Discharge upon completion of Military obligations.
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited University
  • Minimum of 4 years of active-duty status in the last 5 years of service
  • Maximum of 2 years of separation from active duty; exceptions available for extenuating circumstances (Active Reserve Duty, Graduate Degree pursuit)
  • Ability to prove U.S. Person status (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee or refugee status)

Nice To Haves

  • Military service record demonstrating an advanced career trajectory including O-3 to O-4 rank and 8-12 years of service.
  • Assignment to billets of increased responsibility and direct leadership, company command or service equivalent, key staff billets at Battalion/Squadron/Ship level or higher.
  • Completion of an advanced military training course (e.g., Flight School, Special Forces, Nuclear Power School).
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in 8-month rotational assignments within roles such as Project and Program Management, Business Operations, Customer Services, Sales & Marketing, Proposal Manager, Strategy Operations, and Competitive/Market Intelligence Analysis.
