About The Position

Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking transitioning active-duty U.S. military service members interested in participating in the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program. This posting is designed to connect transitioning service members with potential SkillBridge opportunities at Malibu Boats. Opportunities may vary based on experience, career interests, SkillBridge eligibility dates, business needs, and available approved training opportunities. Potential career areas may include: Engineering, Manufacturing and Operations, Electrical and Technical, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business and Administrative Operations. Specific responsibilities will vary based on the SkillBridge training opportunity and host department and will be discussed during the screening and matching process. SkillBridge participants have the opportunity to gain hands-on civilian work experience while applying the skills, leadership, and experience developed during military service. Participants may work alongside Malibu Boats team members in a variety of functional areas and gain exposure to our operations, processes, and industry. Our goal is to provide meaningful training and experience that supports the transition from military service into civilian employment. While participation in SkillBridge does not guarantee employment with Malibu Boats, participants may be considered for full-time opportunities based on qualifications, performance, business needs, and available positions.

Requirements

• Must be an active-duty U.S. military service member eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program.
• Must receive approval from the appropriate military chain of command prior to participation.
• SkillBridge eligibility and participation dates must meet applicable military-service requirements.
• Experience and qualifications will vary based on the career area and potential training opportunity.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in applying military experience and transferable skills in a civilian work environment.
