Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Child and Youth Behavioral, Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) team to support Eielson, AK. This role supports U.S. military service members and their families by providing non-medical support, including counseling, consultation, and outreach, to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth. Non-medical counseling is preventive and solution-focused, aiming to address issues before they escalate. MFLCs play a crucial role in mental health support, particularly within Special Operations Commands (SOCOM) where the demands are high-pressure and families are significantly impacted by frequent separations and operational stress. This position offers an opportunity to support military children facing unique challenges due to military life, providing essential services where and when they are most needed.
