Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) provide first-line defense for Service Members’ mental health, offering flexible, on-call counseling services without the burden of insurance or paperwork. Leidos seeks licensed mental healthcare providers for a PRN-type schedule, supporting military installations and communities to enhance mental well-being. MFLCs offer solution-focused, preventative counseling for issues before they escalate. Counselors may support adults or minors in various settings, including embedded with military units, supporting families, or within schools. Assignments can include adult counseling for Service Members and family members, focusing on operational readiness and resiliency, or Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling for children, youth, parents, and staff in settings like Child Development Centers and Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools.
