About The Position

Valiant Integrated Services, a prominent leader in the Defense Services industry, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Military Analysist II to provide mission command information system integration training support for the Army at the Mission Training Complex (MTC) at JBLM, Washington. This full-time position involves comprehensive management of training resources, including personnel, equipment, and facilities, while ensuring the MTC meets customer training objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong comprehension of mission command information systems and mission command server stack operations.

Requirements

  • CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:  Active Secret.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution desired.
  • Completed the Army Command and General Staff Officer Course (CGSOC), Intermediate Level Education (ILE), Senior Leaders Course or equivalent level military schooling preferred.
  • Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT level I Cyber Security Workforce baseline certification (e.g. Security+, A+, Network+, CCNA-Security, SSCP).
  • 6+ years’ experience in military training, instructing, and training support.
  • Understands the interoperability between Army Mission command Systems and Tactical Mission Command Servers.  2 years’ experience as an instructor.
  • Experience with Army Mission Command Systems (Maven or CPCE SME)
  • Experience assigned to a battalion or brigade S3 or S2 staff (TOC Operations and Battle CPT/NCO)
  • Able to lead instruction on Mission Command, Military Decision-Making Process, and other operational planning functions.
  • Proficient with U.S. Army Doctrine: Unified Land Operations, Operations Process, Mission Command, Training Units and Developing Leaders and Army Leadership.
  • Excellent organizational, research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Successful candidates must exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and senior government official.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and executes the MTC JBLM Mission Command Information System Integration Training (MCISIT) program consisting of classroom instruction, Practical Exercises and a culminating training event/exercise.
  • Conducts analysis and research with government customers, government mission command staff and Field Service Contractors for course and interoperability improvements.
  • Plans, coordinates and supervises the MTC staff of at least 4 personnel in the delivery of the MCISIT collective training events.
  • Instructs and demonstrates the interoperability between Army mission command information systems (MCIS) and Tactical Mission Command Servers (e.g. Data Distribution Service, Repositories, Tactical Server Infrastructure (TSI), and Intelligence Fusion Server).
  • Instructs and demonstrates the capabilities of both Maven and Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) and how it receives/processes data from other (AMCS) to create a Common Operational Picture (COP)
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to company through brigade commanders, staff officers and NCOs during planning and Mission Command operations training.
  • Provides instruction and coaching to company through brigade staff personnel on the operational employment and TTPs of the following Mission Command Information Systems: Maven Smart Systems (MSS), CPCE, MMC-S, AFATDS, TAIS, AMDWS, DCGS-A, and other tactical mission command server software like SharePoint.
  • Develops exercise plans, coordinates internal and external resources, monitors planning progress and timelines, and prepares contract deliverables
  • Creates AAR Plans for the Event participant audience, outlining data collection, analysis parameters, presentations, and final AAR report.
  • Understands and recommends appropriate simulations to achieve training objectives supporting unit mission command training.
  • Has access to and regularly works with Government sensitive data.
  • Conducts instruction and operates the following simulations WARSIM, JCATS, LOTS, and DXTRS.
  • Other duties as assigned.
