About The Position

The Military Medical Readiness Analyst will be responsible for supporting initiatives on a complex Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) business transformation program, with a responsibility to articulate BUMED interests and positions on warfighting mission and capability analyses and apply findings to drive progress. This individual will provide consulting and program management support across a variety of domains including organizational change, policy, medical readiness, and analytical support. The position is hybrid and reports to the client site in Falls Church, VA roughly 2 days / week, or more as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • ONE (1) or more years of project management or other relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Policy, Business Analysis, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Ability to handle demanding situations with clarity, focus and professionalism, and respond quickly to quick turnaround taskers.
  • Ability to devise creative solutions and identify client challenges.
  • Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and recurring deliverables.
  • Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products and related applications.
  • Military health knowledge / experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the development of analyses to address priority initiatives including legislative requirements.
  • Develop slide decks / presentations and Memorandums to/from DoD Senior Leaders.
  • Support wargaming, experimentation, studies, and exercise planning where required.
  • Oversee change management communications, training, and pilot programs.
  • Assist with strategic efforts and provide organizational program support.
  • Prepare written materials to communicate findings to local and organizational leadership.
  • Develop weekly and monthly reports/deliverables to show progress, as well as document lessons learned.
  • Coordinate and support client meetings.
