About The Position

JST is currently seeking a Military Adaptive Sports - Personnel Coordinator to provide support within a government environment. The Military Adaptive Sports-Personnel Coordinator (MAS-P) is responsible for providing adaptive sports support to RSMs while collaborating with Recovery Care Coordinators to identify and recruit eligible candidates. This is a full-time position located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Requirements

  • 60+ Credit Hours of post-secondary education with 5 years of military service
  • 2+ years' experience related to human resources, personnel/program coordination or recruitment
  • History prioritizing workload to meet deadlines
  • Affective verbal and written communication expressing concepts, plans and proposals
  • Government contract may require person to possess proof of U.S. citizenship
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.)
  • Working rapidly for long periods to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills required with attention to detail and follow-through a must
  • Ability to lead individuals with diverse levels of experience, skills, and abilities.
  • Must be able to travel an average of one week a month.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Knowledge and ability in participating in various adaptive sporting events.
  • Secret Clearance required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for USSOCOM WCP's Military Adaptive Sports for Personnel.
  • Identify potential RSMs for participation after coordination with assigned RCC.
  • Perform and refine recruitment activities of RSMs participation.
  • Marketing adaptive sports events and benefits of participation using multi-platform media (examples: face-2-face, telephonic, electronic formats, social media formats, and written formats).
  • Coordinate RSM adaptive sports event support with the Benevolent Support Team.
  • Identify nominee qualifications and subsequent entry into the Mentor/Ambassador Program.
  • With Government oversight, conceptualize, plan, develop, and execute market expansion.
  • Perform as liaison to local unit leadership for SOF WII participation in adaptive sports transition status, information, and coordination of efforts while recommending courses of action (COAs) for RSMs regarding adaptive sports.
  • Provide assistance, education, and coordination on administrative requirements of RSM participation in adaptive sport events.
  • Perform as liaison while skillfully interacting with, educating, and providing guidance for MAS concerns to all stakeholders and clients in face-to-face, telephonic, and written venues.
  • Provide written recommendations to Government for programmatic improvements in Military Adaptive Sports recruitment.
