About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Military Acquisitions Action Officer to join our team as a SETA contractor, working directly with the government customer. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to Senior Leaders and project management style support to the USCYBERCOM Acquisition and Technology directorate. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in military acquisitions, policy development, cross-functional coordination, and will play a critical role in supporting the Command’s mission to advance cyber capabilities and operations.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ poly
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Acquisition, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in military acquisitions, program management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience supporting senior military or government leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functional areas and with diverse stakeholders.
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and functional expertise on service strategy, policy, planning, and operations.
  • Conduct document reviews, analyze issues, prepare comments, and coordinate with leadership for policy, legislation, and decision memoranda.
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure awareness of, and timely responses to, internal tasks and requests for information.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, and manage communication with all leads.
  • Plan, monitor, and coordinate response schedules and actions to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Utilize the internal Task Management System to manage actions and track progress.
  • Review and determine all requirements necessary for task completion.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Quality Assurance procedures, and evaluate all task comments and responses.
  • Administer all phases of task responses, including final coordination with leadership for concurrence.
  • Draft and coordinate point papers in support of USCYBERCOM J9 Directorate leadership, facilitating coordinated responses with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage regularly with Government leadership at the Division Chief and Director level to ensure consistency and accuracy regarding J9 posture on time-sensitive tasks.
  • Assist Government leadership in implementing Command initiatives and objectives, and contribute to the development of concepts of operation and doctrine related to cyber operations.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and events to support organizational goals.
