About The Position
Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center is a 118-bed Acute Psychiatric Hospital and Residential Treatment Center for children and adolescents ages four through eighteen. The facility is situated on approximately 10 acres in the southeast corner of Alabama, less than 20 miles from both Florida and Georgia. In addition to the living units, the facility houses the New Day Academy; a state-supported year-round K-12th grade school with vocational opportunities. The hospital employs approximately 195 staff members. Laurel Oaks is searching for a dynamic individual to join our team as Milieu Manager. The Milieu Manager is responsible for providing real-time training and coaching of new MHTs on the units, to include completion of competency assessments. Universal Health Services, Inc. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Three years of experience as a mental health technician or an equivalent position.
- Three years of management experience in a hospital or mental health facility.
- Expertise with MS OFFICE (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Mail/Webmail).
- Must have Problem Solving Skills
- Must be able to Multi-Task
- Must be at least 21 years of age to apply
