About The Position
This role provides translation services for patients and providers within clinic hours, assisting with patient flow, special needs, and form completion. The position may also involve front desk receptionist duties and patient reminder calls. Additionally, the role supports clinic operations through setup, cleanup, and maintaining stocked, clean, and safe examination rooms.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to communicate and empathize with the population served.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for an entire workday.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and/or twist while holding up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in working with the public.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides translation for patients and providers during clinic hours.
- Assists in clinic flow by escorting patients to examination rooms/operators.
- Assists patients with special needs.
- Assists patients with the completion of required forms.
- Functions as a front desk receptionist as needed.
- Provides reminder calls to patients for scheduled appointments.
- Helps with clinic set-up and clean up.
- Assures examination rooms/operators are kept adequately stocked, clean, and safe.
