About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining various metals to meet specific project specifications, while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. You will prepare metals and work surfaces for welding, ensuring a safe and effective assemblage process. Your ability to accurately interpret blueprints and specifications will be crucial in guiding your welding operations. Additionally, you will perform regular cleaning and inspection of welding equipment and tools to maintain optimal performance. Troubleshooting and diagnosing welding issues will be key components of your responsibilities. As a mentor, you will train and guide MIG Welders I and II, sharing your expertise and best practices to foster their development and ensure quality workmanship. Requirements

  • Ability to read complex drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ability to run MIG Machines.
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of various measuring tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of steel size and thickness.
  • Quick Learner.
  • Has a critical eye for detail and will settle for nothing less than his/her best effort in achieving exceptional quality.
  • Ability to utilize problem-solving skills in the solution of any given problem.
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.

  • High School Diploma, GED, equivalent.
  • 1+ years of welding experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Welding program completion or currently attending vocational training classes for welding.
  • TIG welding experience.

Responsibilities
