About The Position

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders for a full-time manufacturing opportunity in Dexter, MI. If you have hands-on MIG welding experience, can read blueprints, and are looking for consistent hours, we want to hear from you! This role offers 1st Shift (4:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM) with immediate openings.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of welding experience.
• Demonstrated experience with MIG/wire-feed welding.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding symbols, and tape measures.
• Ability to understand work orders, routings, and job instructions.
• Experience laying out and fitting parts using weld fixtures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Dependable and able to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Layout, position, align, and fit components into welding fixtures.
• Set up gas shielding and perform MIG/wire-feed welding to job specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, clamps, grinders, and other welding equipment.
• Inspect your work to ensure parts meet quality specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Complete additional production duties as needed.
