About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG Welders for projects located in or around Kodak, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $25/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of MIG welding experience
- Must be able to pass a 3G Horizontal Weld Test
- Ability to pass BC Manual Steel Fillet and CJ Manual Stainless Steel Certification Weld Assessments
- Experience performing vertical and overhead fillet welds
- Ability to visually inspect welds for quality and compliance
- Familiarity with the use of weld fillet gauges
- Experience using flow meters
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Responsibilities
- Perform weld preparation, MIG welding, and weld finishing operations
- Manufacture products according to customer drawings, specifications, and work instructions
- Complete fillet welds in vertical and overhead positions using single and multiple passes
- Inspect welds for compliance with workmanship standards
- Utilize weld fillet gauges and other quality control tools
- Operate flow meters and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all safety standards
