About The Position

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in welding various materials, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts according to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Must have welding/fabricating experience
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.)

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of blueprint reading

Responsibilities

• Utilize MIG and/or TIG for welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction.
• Read and interpret customer drawings.
• Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
• Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.
• Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.
• Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.
