Requirements

MIG & TIG welding experience required
Must pass drug test and background check.
1+ Years prior work experience as a welder required
Experience with a variety of welding equipment and procedures, including TIG and MMA
Knowledge of welding machinery and electrical equipment
Experience using manual and electrical tools such as saws, squares, and calipers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and drawings
Strong attention to detail and hand dexterity
Knowledge of applicable welding and workplace safety standards
Willingness to wear required protective equipment, including face shields and gloves
Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program required
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings before beginning projects
Source and prepare materials according to project specifications
Measure and cut materials to required dimensions
Perform MIG and TIG welding to join metal components
Select the appropriate welding materials and procedures for each project
Use saws, squares, calipers, and other electrical/manual tools
Inspect finished work to ensure it meets blueprint specifications and required tolerances
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Follow all applicable safety procedures and PPE requirements
