About The Position

Operational support current produced water-gathering system, including pipelines, facilities, and injection wells. Engineer, design, and implement small to large capital projects on produced water-gathering system by evaluating current system limits against future transportation/ injection requirements. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Self-starter that can handle a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Pipeline simulation experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot operational issues on a produced water gathering system, including pipeline, facilities, and injection wells.
  • Engineer and design water infrastructure projects (pipelines and facilities) that maximize operating flexibility and system capacity.
  • Interface with multiple groups including Land, Construction, Operations, Environmental, Regulatory, Drilling, and Completions.
  • Work with management on developing yearly capital and operational budgets.
  • Manage small to large capital projects on produced water system.
  • Create, track, and reduce operational expense budgets for produced water system.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks on produced water system.
  • Evaluate and/or implement new technologies on produced water system.
