About The Position

BIICS, Inc is looking to fill a Middleware Support Systems Engineer position. The position is located in Tallahassee, Florida and work is on-site. Responsibilities: Assist the client in implementing solutions selected by management. Assist with maintaining Red Hat Fuse services, Apache Camel, QuartzDesk, java based applications, upgrading/replacing jBoss-eap servers, including custom batch process, maintaining and developing internal web applications and web services, designing, developing and testing APIs integration between the front-end, middleware, and back-end systems; provide ongoing operational support for all live integrations.

Working experience integrating and supporting Linux Servers.
Working experience integrating and supporting Windows Servers.
Working experience integrating and supporting GitLab Servers.
Working experience integrating and supporting jBoss eap servers.
Working experience integrating and supporting Red Hat FUSE.
Working experience integrating and supporting Apache Camel.
Work experience with creating web services.
Work experience with creating API’s.
Work experience with Java.
Work experience with JBoss.
Work experience with QuartzDesk.
Minimum of five (5) years of program/system analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems architectural design and development, database and middleware technologies.
Experience developing and deploying integrated solutions aimed at modernizing, consolidating and coordinating the independently designed applications within and across the enterprise.
Demonstrated experience following application development best practices, including guardrails, reusable components, governance, and design standards.
Experience gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems.
Experience with Enterprise Applications Integration methodologies and processes such as object-oriented programming and data distribution using common data standards, middleware applications and message queuing approaches.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
