About The Position

Cherry Hills Christian School is seeking a Christ-centered, passionate, and collaborative Middle School Teacher who will joyfully partner in our commitment to prepare students to live fully for God. Requirements

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle that reflects Biblical principles
A deep commitment to the Great Commission and a passion for discipling the next generation
Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (master’s preferred)
Current teaching certification or willingness to pursue certification
Strong instructional and classroom management skills
Experience integrating a biblical worldview into curriculum and classroom culture
A collaborative spirit and a desire to be part of a dynamic, mission-driven team
Demonstrated ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance instruction
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and improve professionally
Must agree to the mission statement, values, and faith statement

Nice To Haves

Experience in Christian or independent school education
Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional best practices for middle school students
Coaching, extracurricular leadership, or missions involvement

Responsibilities

Create a Christ-centered, nurturing classroom environment that fosters spiritual growth, academic curiosity, and student engagement
Design and deliver differentiated, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with CHCS’s academic standards and biblical worldview integration
Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform instruction and support individual learning needs
Maintain consistent and meaningful communication with parents, partnering with them in both the academic and spiritual development of their children
Collaborate regularly with teammates and school leadership to support a unified, mission-aligned learning community
Participate fully in school events, professional development, and discipleship opportunities
Uphold high standards of classroom management that reflect grace, consistency, and biblical principles
Model the ideal team player traits—humble, hungry, people smart, positive and loyal —in all professional interactions
Contribute to the spiritual life of the school by participating in chapel, prayer, and mentoring students as disciples of Jesus
