About The Position

The Academy of Mount St. Ursula, an all-girls Catholic high school conducted in the Ursuline tradition and located in the Bronx, is seeking a mission-driven, practicing Catholic educator to teach a combined Grades 7 and 8 classroom. Requirements

• Committed to Catholic education
• Bachelor's degree required
• Middle school teaching experience
• Strong classroom management skills

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree and certification preferred
• 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred
• Ability to differentiate instruction effectively

Responsibilities

• Foster a supportive, faith-centered learning environment
• Teach ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies
• Differentiate instruction for two grade levels in one classroom
• Assess student progress and communicate with families
• Collaborate with colleagues and uphold Catholic doctrine & values in daily teaching
