We are seeking a compassionate, confident, and organized Social Studies Teacher to join our middle school team for grades 6 through 8.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Social Studies to grades 6, 7, and 8 with two sections per grade level.
• Planning and delivering standards-aligned instruction using Arizona Academic Standards that is engaging, rigorous, and age-appropriate.
• Using formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Differentiating instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of diverse learners.
• Integrating literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving into Social Studies instruction.
• Establishing and maintaining a structured, respectful, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Collaborating with colleagues across grade levels and content areas to support interdisciplinary learning.
• Communicating regularly and professionally with students, families, and school staff.
• Participating in team meetings, professional development, curriculum planning, and school events.
