About The Position
North Canton City Schools is seeking a Middle School Social Studies/ELA Teacher for North Canton Middle School. This position is for the 2026-27 school year. The main teaching responsibilities will be to teach the Discover Classes (social studies) for 6th and 7th-grade students identified as Superior Cognitive gifted. Additionally, the teacher will instruct one class of 8th-grade English Language Arts.
Requirements
- Must possess (or will possess by the start of the school year) a current Ohio Teaching license.
- Must have one or more of the following certifications: Middle Childhood 4 - 9 Social Studies and English Language Arts, or Elementary 1 - 8.
Nice To Haves
- A Gifted Intervention Specialist Endorsement is preferred.
Responsibilities
