About The Position

Requirements

• Must pass a Criminal Records Check (CORI) and fingerprinting prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Advertise and implement a tryout schedule.
• Establish a culture of teamwork and cooperation among players.
• Work with the girls basketball coach to create a regular practice schedule.
• Organize practices with drills, activities, and instruction to provide for individual player and team development.
• As needed, help with the scheduling of games.
• Assess and evaluate players' skills during practices and games, instructing ways to improve in encouraging and supportive ways.
• Maintain a record and inventory of team equipment and player uniforms.
• Model good sportsmanship and leadership.
• Successful completion of Criminal Records Check (CORI), and fingerprints prior to start date.
