Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission of the school
• Desire to share the love of Christ with young people
• Strong instructional skills and understanding of effective teaching practices
• Passion for helping students grow in both knowledge and virtue

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience in science
• Virginia teaching license or eligibility for licensure
• Experience in a Catholic school setting
• Background in a science-related field

Responsibilities

• Teach middle school science courses in an engaging and effective manner
• Create a positive, faith-filled classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and spiritual growth
• Foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and a sense of wonder about God's creation
• Help students deepen their understanding of Scripture, Catholic teachings, prayer, and virtue

Benefits

• Salary - 10 Months (195 contracted days)
• Hiring Minimum Salary $48,750 USD
• Hiring Maximum Salary $68,500 USD
