About The Position
Wyandot Middle School is seeking a Middle School Resource Room Teacher to begin immediately. This role involves supporting students in a resource room setting. Inquiries can be directed to the Human Resources Department at 586 723-2090. Only completed applications with all required attachments will be considered.
Requirements
- Valid Michigan Teaching certificate with special education endorsement required.
- Must be highly qualified in Math.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
- Interest in working in supplemental athletics and/or academic activities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support students in a resource room setting.
- Perform essential job duties including understanding and following safety instructions, responding appropriately to emergency situations, completing documentation, and interacting with English-speaking staff, students, community and supervisors.
