The Lead Teacher Role is central to Alma's success. Lead teachers are responsible for ensuring that every scholar in their grade level achieves at high levels and develops essential success habits. They are dedicated to creating powerful learning experiences for their scholars. Responsibilities include planning and teaching effective lessons, collaborating within grade-level and curricular teams, and building strong relationships with Alma families. Lead teachers receive ample support while maintaining the autonomy to make decisions that best serve their scholars. Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher required
• Proven effectiveness leading all students to significant academic gains
• A passion for working with kids and a belief that all kids can succeed
• Humility, resilience, and a hunger to learn and grow

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of full time teaching experience preferred
• Bilingual applicants strongly encouraged to apply
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus
